Tell the City Council: Housing Not Handcuffs!

  • 495 South Main Street Las Vegas, NV, 89101 United States (map)

The City of Las Vegas is back with another punitive ordinance targeting people experiencing homelessness. This time with a proposal to punish a person for sitting or resting outside during a street cleaning -- once again with a fine of $1,000 or 6 months in jail.

Join us at the Dec. 18 City Council meeting to oppose this harmful proposition. Criminalization is not the answer to homelessness, and poverty is not a crime!!

Join us for a rally before the meeting at 8 a.m. The meeting agenda has not been posted yet.

All groups and people are welcome. Reach out to join our coalition or act as a co-host for this event.
