Please join us on Friday July 12th, 2019, at the Lloyd D. George Courthouse, at 333 S. Las Vegas Blvd from 7-9pm for Lights for Liberty: A Candlelight Vigil to End Human Detention Camps that will bring thousands of people to locations worldwide as well as to detention camps across country, into the streets and into their own front yards, to protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees.

Co-Sponsors - Make the Road Nevada, Mi Familia Vota, ACLU of Nevada, Nevada NOW, PLAN, Lawyer Moms of America, Paradise Las Vegas Indivisible, Coalition To Close The Concentration Camps, Clark County Left Caucus, Jewish Voice for Peace, LV Democratic Socialists of America, Battle Born Progress and NARAL Pro-Choice Nevada will have speakers and more to be announced. With a special performance by our co-sponsor The Indivisible Owls. Bring signs, candles, flashlights, (or use your cell phone) and at 9pm join us for a candlelight vigil to share a moment of silence. Together we will light up the world (and social media) to demand an end to human detention camps.
